Indoor Putting Greens FAQ's |
Home > Products > Indoor Putting Greens > Indoor Putting Green FAQs hy would I choose an indoor putting green for my home rather than an outdoor green? Surprisingly, 40% of our clients choose to order a custom indoor putting green, designed especially for their own specific room. Indoor greens are popular because they allow you to practice without concern for the elements - anytime, night or day. What do indoor putting greens look like? When we first began At Home Putting Greens, the only indoor greens that we offered were rectangular. They were perfectly functional, but lacked visual interest. We've now developed techniques that allow each client to help design a green that is not only functional, but serves as the focal point of the room or area. These second-generation greens have unique designs and can even incorporate fringe to give the green a realistic look. Are indoor putting greens flat with only straight putts? Our indoor custom greens can have multiple breaks and putting challenges. Our carpentry team has been trained to construct the green's base to give everyone, from the professional golfer to the beginner, the type of putts that will improve their game. How are the bases constructed? We can construct our bases a number of different ways. The sub floor base is the most popular. It is built 2"-4" high on top of your floor. This style is constructed so that you can take the green with you when you move. At Home Putting Greens can even disassemble the green and reconstruct it in your new home. |
